During the biggest post-war exercise air maneuvers »Sloboda '71«, the fighter core was consisted of the 117. Regiment from Bihac equipped with the MiG-21PFM fighter aircraft, and the reconnaissance task was taken over the 352. Squadron equipped with MiG-21R. All the aircraft participating the maneuvers were marked with a white lightning on the nose. Few years later, MiG-21M, MF and US aircraft from the 204. Regiment were included in the exercise air maneuvers now named »Golija'76«. All the aircraft participating were marked with a light blue stripe on the nose and the wings. As it can be seen from the photos some MiG-21bis have white stripes which extend from the root of the tale to the vertical stabilizer.
